The training requirements vary between 8U and 10U/Regional Referees, and between Youth (<18) and Adult (18+) Volunteers. Consult the tables below for training requirements applicable to you

3. Referee Training - 8U+ Regional Referee
Referee training starts out with an AYSOU based online course ("Regional Referee Online + In Person Companion Class") that covers the Laws of the Game, including field markings and dimensions, equipment requirements, players and player requirements, Offside, Fouls and Misconduct, starting and stopping of play, restarts, and so on.
This is accessed from the Refereeing course group in AYSOU.
10U/Regional Referees must be a minimum of 12 years old
